I know the GCR requires a minimum ride height of 5 inches measured at the rocker, but can any part of the car hang lower than that, i.e. exhaust? I've modified my Spec Miata to run in ITA and I had to modify the exhaust to meat the IT rules and now it hangs kind of low to exit beyond the body work.

You're legal, it's rocker only. Other stuff, suspension, exhaust etc, can be lower.

The rocker = 5". The rest of the stuff can't be lower than the bottom part of the rim.

Wrong. Technically, the exhaust and the suspension pieces can drag the ground. They are specifically exempt from any height requirements - 9.1.3.D.8.c, page 340.

Actually, it's for everything else that is not part of the exhaust or suspension systems.

"No part of the car, except for the exhaust system and suspension components, shall be lower than the lowest part of the wheel rims."
