So who is in for the first round of the TEAMDI ProIT race in New Hampshire! My brother and I will be in to fight for the ITB championship again this year and it looks like Ken is back as well! Ken and myself went into the last weekend last year tied in points and I luckely won but I am sure he is back to prove that it was just luck on my part, either way I look forward to a great weekend down the street from my house! Then round 2 about 9 hrs. away the weekend after!

A couple notes about the event...
Looks like a 30min. qualifying on Saturday :happy204:
The standard 45 min. ProIT format for the race! :026:
And the entry fee is equal to the National at $350 but 1/2 of that purse goes back to us! :D

***Did you all know that $18,928.37 was paid out last year in the ProIT prize fund!!! :smilie_pokal:

Anyway follow the enty list as it grows and let the battles begin with the season opener to a great series! Thanks to everyone involved in making it happen!

Hey why do the supps show STU with ITR, I thought we agreed this does not fit very well.

I am hoping it was because this had to go through the process of getting the sanction number before they changed that.

I'm in but unsure if the car will be delivered in time to test before the event.

There is a update in the works to remove STU from the Supps but it will probably take a couple of days to get updated :024: on the NESCCA registration site.

As Andy surmised, the region used an interim version of our rules for their sanction application. Based on the driver feedback, STU was removed from the 2009 Pro-IT rules (http://www.proitseries.com/images/2009proitrules.pdf).

Make sure you get your information to Steve B. for the program.
The prize fund for 2009 should blow away what the 2008 TeamDI Pro IT paid out.

Round 2 TeamDI Pro IT at Pocono is approved, just waiting to be posted on NeSCCA.

Car goes to the cage builder tomorrow - all hangs on this guy getting the car in and out in a reasonable time frame.

After watching Glen Lawton's video of NHIS I can't wait to hit the track

Bob Blake and I just put our names in for Sunday's race, but
neither of us will be able to make qualifying Saturday.

Ok to start from the back Darrell?

I'm out and officially out of Pocono too - sucks but the car still isn't ready. I don't want to rush these guys into any mistakes.

Glenn,
Not my call, Terry will answer that but I don't see why you can't start from the back unless it is unsafe. It will make 3 even more fun! :happy204:
The more entries we get the more prize money gets paid out. The more the merrier!

Ben,
#27 is yours for Pocono if you want her, I'll be there on Sunday after playing God father on Saturday. No Pocono for me this year. :( Just make sure you take care of her.:eclipsee_steering: Having a perfectly good racecar sitting there isn't fair, she needs to be driven (just don't fry the transmission again).

Bob Z. and I will be up in NHMS on Saturday by qualifying. We need to go to NJMP for Thursday and Friday but will be up to see real racing on Saturday and Sunday!

We have the series, let's make it even better this year than last!!!!!!

I don't see any problem - check with me when you get to the track on Sunday morning.

I am out (pocono also)... My car isn't ready and I am trying to find/buy a house (first time home buyer with no major savings).

Good news for work though, I am inches away for a new 5yr contract! This means I should be stable and racingil from Round 4 on If all goes well :)

Does anyone have room on their crew list for Sunday? I need to at least watch the race.

I'll add you to my crew but you are going to have to add some fuel or change a tire or two!

I thnk I can handle that. Like I haven't changed a tire on a BMW every before. Of course at NHMS the choice between dry and rains has to be made 2 minutes before grid.

Thanks, my wife Claire and I plan to be there on Sunday.
