I am new to ITS and am building a 1991 RX 7 . I need help understanding the actuators and the air pumps. Does everyone take the air pump off and block off the engine and if so what operates the actuators? I know the 5th and 6th are normally disdabled but what about the others?

we remove them , plug the holes .

Yes, air pump goes. Nothing operates the actuators anymore, remove them and wire everything open, there are only 3 - 5th, 6th ports and VDI. To do it all the way, remove the LIM and remove the rods and sleeves, cover holes on LIM.
