After talking to Ground Control, I have two options for camber plates for my '95 Golf ITB build. Here they are:

The first one gives me more camber adjustment and caster. However, I need to cut the strut mounting point.

The second one doesn't require any cutting/drilling, but offers less camber adjustment and no caster (in theory, I guess you could rotate it to get some caster adjustment).

Which one would you pick?

Thanks, Edison

There are other choices. Try BILDON or BURMEISTER plates.

The caster adjustment is not really necessary.

All plates generally require some form tweaking--trimming, drilling, grinding or welding.

Go with the ones that require cutting. More caster is more stable at speed, and provides more 'dynamic' camber change as you turn the wheel. More camber adjustment is a good thing to have in your back pocket - I did originally have difficulty reaching the camber that I wanted on my car.

I took those same plates and installed them from the bottom, and only had to drill a couple of holes. Yes, I lost some shock/strut travel, and had to go to 6" springs, but it was the simplest to install.

BTW, this is on an A1 VW, not an A3.
