I have Bildon's 80mm studs and 15mm wheel spacers on my current setup. The 80mm studs must be used with wheel spacers (probably about 1/4 inch) or you can't tighten down an oem-style wheel because of the shoulder on the studs.

I'm looking for the flexiblity to experiment. Can anyone can tell me if Bildon's 60mm studs can be used without spacers?

Or can anyone can recommend another vendor that offers studs (M12x1.5) around 50-60mm length that can be used with or without spacers?

Thanks!

I use studs that press in from the back side, and can use wheels without spacers.

Yah ask Bildon :D

Our 75 & 80mm studs are the only studs that REQUIRE spacers. The unthreaded portion is stronger and since you would never need to use an 80mm stud without a spacer that is why they were made that way.

Therefore our 45, 60 & 65mm studs do not require spacers.

Yah, I did ask Bildon. Twice.

But thanks, Bill. Now I know how to get a quick answer out of you!
