I want to thank Butch Kummer and Atlanta Region SCCA for putting on the ECR Saturday at Road Atlanta.
I realize that the turnout was low in part because of the conflict with the double SARRC @ VIR and because it was a late addition. That said, it was great to be part of a professional weekend. It was a lot of fun having spectators watching the racing.
I understand my co-driver had the formula drift fans in 10a and 10b on their feet with a smokey loop followed by a big burnout as he relaunched the car.
I also want to commend Atlanta Region for allowing ITO to run these ECR races. There are more V8 cars out there that want to compete in these races than many think and its good to see that Butch and company open the party up to us.
So far as I know there was not a single complaint that the Viper(thats right a Viper) and two Mustangs put any of the small bore cars in danger.
