Vice President Business Sales


Skip Barber is growing at a rapid rate due to a recent acquisition/new programs and seeks to add to our professional Sales staff. We are looking for an energetic sales leader to join one of the most dynamic and successful Motor Sports, Automotive Education and Entertainment Companies in the world. Skip Barber has been the national leader for over 30 years, working for nearly all the major automotive brands such as Mazda, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette… and many others.

Our graduates include Indy 500 competitors, NASCAR Sprint Cup field, and are winners of every major U.S. auto racing championship and our Instructors are the finest teaching professionals in the industry today. Many are former or current racers whose collective experience spans all types of racing and driving situations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate sales team leadership abilities; have a proven track record of consistently meeting revenue targets and establishing corporate partnerships.

If you possess a superior sales/relationship building aptitude, creative problem solving and communication skills, and a commitment and desire to perform with a team of dedicated, passionate professional automotive educators who always ensure safety while creating maximum fun then this is the place for you.

Position Location:
While Skip Barber's Corporate Headquarters is located in Lakeville, CT - this position may have the flexibility to be based out of another location. The right candidate must have the ability to travel to Ct on a monthly basis as needed.




Requirements
Responsibilities:

Analyzing market opportunities and program development;

Managing the Corporate Sponsorship and OEM Events business;

Developing sales plans;

Managing existing and future client relationships



Skills/Requirements:

Individual must be experienced in selling sponsorship and/or drive event programs with an ability to lead sales teams; knowledge of the automotive industry; knowledge of event logistics and planning and possess the ability to travel up to 50%.
