Still a month away, but we have a field of 10 ITS cars, with only 2 RX7s. Look at the others:

9 Zsolt Ferenczy Red 1998 Acura Integra GSR
Sponsored by: RD Motorsports
31 Jeff Mccandless Black 1989 Mazda RX 7
Sponsored by: E L S
38 Ron Earp Silver 1974 Datsun 260Z
Sponsored by: Team Improved Pirate
40 Scott Agnew white 1986 porsche 944
44 Jeff Young Green 1980 Triumph TR8
Sponsored by: Moore & Van Allen PLLC
55 D Karably Yellow 1987 Nissan 300ZX
Sponsored by: Santa Fe Electric Inc
85 Jay Miller Orange/blue/white 1977 datsun 280z
0 Mark Cash White, Green, and Red 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva
Sponsored by: "Castrol"
01 Mike Van Steenburg Blue 1992 Mazda Miata
Sponsored by: ISC Racing Services
07 Mike Lacombe YELLOW 1991 MAZDA RX-7

An Acura, 2 RX7s, a 260, a 280, a 300, a Miata, a Porsche and a Triumph. We get Harold C. in his 325is and Irish Mike in his 190E, both Roebling regulars, and we'll have 10 different models of car.

That would be...cool.

Hell, let's tow the Jensen Healey down just so it can sit out there and add diversity. Just don't get he TR8 too close lest the British Car Pauli Exclusion Principle takes effect.

Damn people, somebody has got to bring a 240Z! I can't believe a red-headed step child 260Z will show up and no 240Z.

Cool field. Doesn't someone have an Alfa Romeo and 200SX they could bring?

Totally forgot that event was even there. Maybe I can convince the SO that camping at the race track that weekend, would be the same thing really as camping in the mountains :happy204::happy204:

You'll be highly successful if your SO thinks camping is about ants, sand, mosquitoes, stray cats, and hot muggy weather. Oh yeah, smelly motors and grumpy men in white suits.

Sure, it is a lot like camping in the mountains, only different.

I have found that the best way to attract women to Roebling is with that magic word, "Savannah." Then, do everything you can to convince them that they will be in "Savannah" while, really, they'll be in Pooler.

Not much doubt ITA is healthy, at least on the east coast; out of 13 entrants already registered for MARRS 1 (3 weeks to go) we have:

3-CRXs
2-Integras
2-Miatas
2-MR2s
1-Neon
1-Scirocco
1-240SX
1-Civic

and that could very well be only 1/2 of the entrants. I expect we'll see 2-3 more 240SXs, another MR2, a GTI, an RX3, and a 2002 on the list before race day.

Gee, this sounds like so much fun that I think I'll put a cage in a Volvo 850 and head north. :)

HI Guys,
I will be there, ...Weather permiting. One 71 240z ..

Haven't been there in 3 years, but I do remember well my first trip down in 97/98. Mr. Chet Wittle sitting in the instuctor seat...telling me It'll go faster......right before my chevy V-8, 240Z spectacularly exploded, turning 6 quarts of oil into a 200 yard long, smoke cloud.....still have the bent, horse shoe shaped, indestructable "pink" rods on my shelf at work. Now to find a 3.54 diff.

David Spillman! Get your but down to Roebling man, we haven't seen you yet this year.

Which car are you bringing? Bob's old car or the new red one? Is the new one done?

I won't be able to make Roebling in April, wife and one of the kids are going to Washington State, and I am not chasing SARRC points this year (motor took way to long to get built, then broke 15 minutes after installation (the Monday before the March VIR race). I made it to VIR after working late nights putting the old motor back in.
