Local race we are having here in Louisiana.

Calling all road racers, especially the Grand Bayou Race Series drivers! Where are your registration forms for the Grand Bayou Charity Challenge race? The event is on April 11-12 (that's about 10 days away) and the deadline for pre-registration is April 9th. We're having a half day of practice on Friday, April 11th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and the race is on Saturday, April 12th. You need to go to http://www.mikepoupartmotorsports.com (http://www.mikepoupartmotorsports.com) to download the registration form as well as get the latest information, event flyer, event schedule, etc. The registration form needs to be mailed in. There is no on-line registration for the event. (We'll work on that for next year!) You can also call Chris Wilken 504-616-3064 and confirm that you'll be there. He'll get you on the list and make arrangements for your payment.

We're trying to spread the word to get your registrations in NOW! We want to make sure we have enough event t-shirts for all entrants. We are ordering extras, but if you don't pre-register, there's a chance you won't get a shirt at the event. The pre-registration also saves you a few bucks on the race entry and helps us plan for the food for the parties. And speaking of the parties. . . . you can buy tickets for the Sponsor's Reception on Friday night, April 11th. The dinner is at Cafe Lafourche in Donaldsonville. You can also buy extra tickets for the BBQ dinner being held after the race on Saturday. There is a price break on the BBQ tickets if purchased with the pre-registration. Remember, you are getting a free event t-shirt and free BBQ dinner with your entry.

Everything is on the form! Your entry fee check is to be made payable to UnlockingAutism.org and mailed to the address on the form. Of course, if you have any questions, just give us a shout!

We're racing for the cure of autism - won't you join us?
