Total Number of SCCA IT Drivers

Does anyone know how I can find out how many IT drivers participate at SCCA races nationally each year? Does the SCCA keep such statistics? I have seen info on national classes but not IT.

it may not be the simplest or cleanest, but many divisions have regional championship series.

you could get a count by going to the different divisions and asking them or looking at what they post up.

for example, Great Lakes series ITB gives this:

Tom Sprecher, Stan Clayton (CRB member IIRC) posted some numbers on the production site about a year ago. IIRC the SCCA collects data for National & Regional cars. E-mail Stan, he is very open with the SCCA info he knows. Below is not what your asking for. It is info Stan posted onthe Production site during year 2007 therefore it may be numbers from 2006.
