Eddie, take your tranny to your local rebuild expert, and have him weld up the spider gears. I had mine done, with a total rebuild, plus welding up the diff for $600. Keep in mind that this was in 1993, but I haven't done a thing to it since.

Yes, it weighs a bit more than a spool, but you already have all the parts needed. :D
