Those of you who have been watching developments in safety equipment rules will be interested in http://rsicommunity.org - the Racing Safety Institute (RSI) online community.
After quite a bit of conversation and mulling over of options, it's been decided to create a development community, much like those that created Linux and other open-source computer software, to move the RSI initiative forward.
RSI is an alternative to the organizations that currently drive safety equipment specifications in motor sports, and the RSI Community is an independent grassroots organization intent on helping RSI succeed. The rsicommunity.org web site is different, too as registered members can actually contribute content.
Take a look. It's brand new and we have a lot to do but it's a start.
