I saw this picture and thought it might be a good idea to slow down a fuel cell area fire to the drivers area. In looking through the GCR, it appears legal.
9.1.3.D.9.E and 9.1.3.D.10.A.2
Assuming this is legal according to the above rules, do you see any benefit in doing this? The fuel cell already has an aluminum box covering it. The fire system has a nozzle in drivers footwell/crotch area and under hood. Car is a 2nd Gen RX7. The picture is from an ex World Challenge 3rd Gen.
