Anyone ever use VCT (vinyl 12"x12"x1/8" tile) in their enclosed trailer? I'm curious how it holds up. I got a good deal (free) on more than enough off white tile but I'm curious how it will hold up. I looked through this forum and saw posts about linoleum and rubber floors, but none for VCT.

Thanks
Matt

I've seen an older installation where it was coming off in chunks. I have it in my shop...it's better than concrete, but needs lots of care and waxing. Oil will soak into it as will other fluids. And hot tires mark it, and jack stands chrush it. And...don't weld on it, LOL.

Of course, basic rules apply. Make sure the substrate is sound. No leaks or rotten or soft areas.
Keep it waxed and polished, and it will repell dirt and grime better.

And, the best part about it is that when squares get damaged, you just peel them off and replace them. It's soooo cheap. Most styles can be had for less than $1 a foot at full retail. Mine were.69.
