I was wondering how Mid O fared in all the Ohio flooding and disasters....wowza.
That will drain pretty quick.
The Picture reminds me of the Carrosell at Nelson a few years back during a race weekend. They set up the pumps and cleared a path around the top and we actually used it in qualifying--with a standing yellow.
It worked.

Hello all,
The day this picture was taken, the water was drained and cars ran on the track.
Mid-Ohio staff did outstanding job making the track operational again.

And then there were the days when they would spray paint orange/white circles around or put traffic cones in the holes as they formed on-track. Every session was AN ADVENTURE IN THE UNKNOWN !!!
Fortunately, life is much improved at the Nelsonring these days. Kerrie and Scott are the most racer-friendly track managers in North America. I just hope I won't sink my trailer in the paddock this weekend at the Longest Day.
