Happens the day after I order koni's and coilovers... Murphy's revenge?

The oil pressure warning went on an off two times in the last few weeks. No leaks, full of oil. I suspected the sensors.

I pulled into the drive yesterday and the oil light/warning came on and stayed on up the drive and until I shut it down. A good place at least.

I go to start it up today and it cranks but won't start. Seems...weak? I can't describe the sound, Cranks fine, no weird noises, but like there's no chance it'll start. Almost like no spark.

I've had an intermittent CEL lately too. So I have that, the oil pressure light, and IN O2 on the odometer display.

Any thoughts? It's got a lot of miles and perhaps multiple problems.

It's a '94 Golf.

Thanks,

James

Sounds like you are now in the crappy wiring harness/fuseblock/ground club!

I think if you have low oil pressure the ecu will hold back the spark, a CEL can be hundreds of things, it'd be nice to know what code you are having.

Lot's of miles could mean it's wore slam out.
