Wondering if any photographers are planning to attend. We'd like to make arrangements for a group photo for our class (FB).

Thanks.

Gordon Jolley is always at Road Atlanta...give him a ring.

The last couple of years, I've helped cover it for the Steeringwheel (Atlanta Region's newsletter), along with another fellow. I'm planning to be there and I'm pretty sure my colleague is planning to, also. I'm sure we could set up something for a group photo. We'll just need to see which of us will be at the track when it's convenient to do the group shot.

Edit: My gallery for last year is at

Thanks, Doug. We've just started working with the ARRC organizers to determine the best time and place to stage our group photo.

Make sure you let either me or Karyn Hudson know so we can get the word out to Clark and anyone else who'll be helping shoot for Steeringwheel. Clark and I try to cover every non-practice session, so we ought to be able to set up something, sometime, at least Saturday or Sunday.

I'll be there as well. I won't take shots of every session, but if there any requests I can make do.

Here is some of my work from a National/ProIT earlier this year.

Thanks, everyone.

We're planning to take our group picture on Friday at the end of the green flag track sessions. Hopefully we'll have some sunshine left by that hour. I think we will be gathering cars on the front straight, but that may not have been finalized.

As you may know, F1000 is a new class this year (designated "FB"). It is going to be popular because it offers very high performance for lower costs (compared to Formula Atlantic and others). The ARRC will be the first time that a substantial group of F1000's will race together. Atlanta Region's Sean O'Connell has been fastest thus far with his converted 1996 Van Diemen. The ARRC will show if anyone has overcome Sean's head start. In addition to several formula cars converted from automotive to superbike engines, there will be several new designs from established manufacturers. Also, an impressive gathering of sponsors are going to help make the 2007 ARRC an historical event for the class. We can't wait.

I plan to be there specifically shooting the ITS race. A couple of 06 shots.
