What is a good pressure range and temperature range for a Kumho Exsta (sp?) 700 on a 2300 lb front wheel driver?
Thanks.

Ecsta's like 38-42 lbs. hot. Tweak as necessary. Temps are pretty much like any other rubber...you're probably not working them very hard unless you're in the 170-210 deg. range.

In my experience, any pressure greater than 40psi causes grip and tire life drop significantly.

These would of course be off track temps. Going on track you will be at least 5 to 7 psi less. You need to check the pressure coming off the track, Add 2 - 3 PSI for each PSI you are under 40 and they do need to be hot, 170-210 degF.
Please, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Nice to meet you at the track Bill.

Bill,
are these the old tires you were telling me about? If so, they probably won't get any heat in them. The harder/older a tire gets, the less heat you'll get in them.
