Who is planning on coming? I know it is a busy month with Mid Ohio, and NSS double SARRC but it is only two weeks away.

Details at http://www.ccrscca.com/eaglesnest/

and at http://www.eaglesnestbe.com/events.html

Looks like fun and I see that Ekerich will be there :D

Ron and I had both planned on this event, but both cars are way laid at the moment. Ron is to get his short block back from the engine builder this week, and we will install this coming weekend.

The TR8 is on jackstands getting new rear brake lines, new Ron Davis radiator, the requisite all new front brakes after two race weekends, and quick disassembly and rebuild of the left hand carb which was doing some funny things at Barber....

Hate to miss the hill climb -- will do them next year I hope.

Well, I survived the hillclimb. I ended up being the only ITS car there. 1 ITA RX7 but I think there were 46 entries overall.

I got to meet Sekerich (thanks for working the event so I could play :P ) and had a good time.

Neat hill, fun, fast course with an unusual downhill start. Here is an incar video that I shot on my last run. I was still cautious as there are no runoff areas.

Had a great time and the 55 degree mornings and 85 afternoons were wonderful compared to the 106 degrees I left at home. Thanks for the fun time Central Carolina region.

Great to meet you as well. We had a blast!! Where else can you go hillclimb in August that you open your window at night for AC. Between the 5 or 6 bands playing over the weekend, car shows, and a hillclimb it had something for everyone. Thanks for supporting this new event for our region. We look forward to making it bigger and better next year.

Paul... Great video! That run looked great to me. I wish I could have been there. Work was almost as much fun :bash_1_: . I know what you mean about the cool temps, it was about 54 degrees this morning in Albany NY.

That is actually one that I want to do. My girlfriends parents live in Windsor and I am up in VT whenever I am not racing so I thought that event would be perfect, I would get the best of both worlds!!! Unfortunatly at the Mid Ohio IT SPectacular I blew the motor. I have a junk yard motor sitting on the floor but no time to put it in (starting new job, need to be 100% dedicated to for a few months). Hoping next year to do one of the Ascutney hillclimbs though!!!
