I am on hold to talk to an AT&T rep and the first song that comes on the hold is 'Lies, tell me sweet little lies' followed immediately by 'Wait a minute, baby' LOL

Oh yeah, and "Press 1, if you wish to continue in English".

Well if I wanted to procede in any other language, I'd have called another country!

And if the caller doesn't understand English, how would they understand a request to continue in English, in English?

Another for the HOW COME:

As a waitress taking your order in a restaurant writes in the English language how do the Spanish dudes who cook who don't understand/read/speak English read the written food order ?

Somthing also NOT SO FUNNY was when I was attempting to make motel reservations at Topeka today at the same motel I stayed at last year for 9 nights they told me that the daily rate without tax was 42% higher than last year. :mad1: SURE SCCA there is no motel gouging for the Solo Nationals they just gouge for the Runoffs. The slower motels took a year to learn.

I have a call in to the main man of the SCCA requesting a personal response to explane the gouging that THEY said would not continue as it had been in Ohio.

Lessee, isn't Sprint a part of Nextel? And isn't Nextel a sponsor of a major racing organization in the U.S.A.? And aren't they about to change the name of the Nextel Cup to the Sprint Cup (an item my Great Grandmother kept next to her rocker when she dipped snuff)? Makes my decision to start and stay with Cingular/AT&T a smarter one than I'd originally thought. Good customer relations going there, Sprint!
