Waterfest is the largest watercooled VW and Audi show in the US. The event is at Englishtown Raceway Park in Old Bridge, New Jersey. www.waterfest.net for info on the show.
This year it will be held on July 21st and 22nd. They are looking for help for the auto-x on Sunday July 22. The job includes teching the cars to make sure they are ready to go out on course. For some reason they think racers are up to this job. The bribes are an event t-shirt, lunch, a small honorarium ($25?), and the ability to take in the rest of the events when you're not needed at the course.
Of course you can also take in the rest of the show as time permits including over a miles worth of vendors selling shiny go-fast stuff.
