I'm looking for the best right side net. NASA is requiring them or a seat bolster on July 1. Since I just bought a new seat without a bolster I'm putting in a net. This was by choice.

So far, my research leads me to the Racetech net w/ anchors. I have a MOMO Start seat but this net w/ the anchors should do a good job and I believe could be made to work well.

I had bought a Pyrotect a few months ago and right side head restraint when I had a Kirkey seat. Neither of which I liked or even installed so the Pyrotect is out. The Pyrotect simply was not going to fit and went to ebay.

I know the Racetech is not cheap for a net but it sure looks like an excellent design and easy to install. Anybody have the Racetech or is there a better net? I'm ordering something this week. I'd like this to be my final purchase for right side protection. Thanks.

BSR/Safety Solutions - about $80 when I got mine a few years ago, it's the NASCAR RH side net:

Mark,
I think Saini got mine for me. Don't remember what brand, but it is the same one they use in the MX5 Cup cars.
Oh, BTW get that car ready. You should have been with me in Memphis there were some ITS cars for you to run with.

If NASA is requiring this do you think SCCA will be requiring as well sometime this year. I haven't ran a NASA race but would like to. Have not looked into where, when, how and all that jazz.

I seem to recall that it is recommended for SCCA use - but not required.

How are people rigging the quick release for these? Carabiner?

Mine came with, just out of sight in the pic, it's the same style as the HANS quick release, I believe.

Saini gets the car this Saturday, I can't wait! Finally, someone who knows how to drive can evaluate my car and do a setup. I may or may not be on for MSRH in 2 weeks, I'm SOWDIV disgruntled right now. I'll probably just wait and do NASA MSRH at the end of June. These long hauls you do are crazy, unfortunately my job demands alot of my time. I'll hit a MIDIV race eventually.
