What do you call the brake line thread on a 81 to 85 Rx7.
I am trying to find 2 adapters that would screw in to the 1/8 pipe thread in my proportioning valve and accept the stock size brake line. my second choice would be adapters that are 3/16 male flare and metric female. Google is just not doing it for me.

Dick, I don't remember where I purchased the 1/8 male pipe fitting to the male metric brake line fitting you are looking for. I did the same as you want to do with a Wilwood Prop valve. BUT, I did find them. Measure the outside diameter of the thread, then take some threaded bolts of known different pitch metric thread approx the same diameter as your brake line thread & hold each threaded bolt male thread to match with the outside thread of your metric brake line fitting.

BINGO you know the thread diameter & the thread pitch.

When you know the thread diameter & pitch try Pegasus, Speedway, Wildwood...........

Thanks David for bring me back to basics. I was not sure if metric brake fitting sizes were named by thread size like a bolt or by tube size. The thread is a 10mm x 1.0. so I guess that is the answer.
So I am looking for a pair of 10mm x 1.0 female by 1/8 27 npt male adapter. I have searched most of the usual subjects with no luck but I will keep trying.

Have you had any luck finding the 10 mm coarse to pipe adapters? I ended up using a 10mm fine to 10mm coarse adapter, and then a pipe -> coarse (10x1.5 mm, IIRC) adapter.

This is also where I learned to double flare. One thing I learned, though: The 'old' tubing kept splitting. I cut new tubing, bent to length, and flared some replacement tubing. It took a few tries, but I got it to work.

No I have not been able to find either of them anywhere. I have another way around it as I have some metric male flare x sae female flare. It just means I have to use some sae and some metric lines. I was hoping to simplify.

I have had NO luck finding this part either, BUT.....I am going to try using the adapter that came with the Wilwood valve which is 1/8npt x 3/8-24 and connect to it using this part PP-BQ50 from:
http://www.paragonperformance.com/ADPTRS7.html

NOW I need a m10x1.00 inverted flare Tee........anyone know where to find that?
