Do you fellows with Z's run one or two ranges colder on plugs for the race motors?

I've got a motor now that is getting setup to be put in the car. I hope to make CMP. She's a stocker, and runs. I'm more than pleased, it means I get to race!

Don't remember what the stock plug is, but I think I use an NGK BP6ES.

Did you get my PM?

Stock plug is a BP5 or BP6 depending on climate. I recommend BP7es or BP8es for NGK or C61 champion race plugs.

BP7ES, NGK.

Joe, you know Z's don't like Champion :)

Thanks fellows, much appreciated. Pics of my "new" motor to follow later today.

Ty, I did get your PM and emailed you back. Did you get that? I can send again in PM if you did not.

Ron I hope you make CMP in your Z. There should be some nice Z cars there. I know Guy Marvin is running his ITS 240Z in the SARRC & teaming with Greg Ira in the ECR. I'll be there shooting pics. First time I have been to CMP.....

Hmmm, need to go one heat range colder. Thanks Keith! BTW the shifter bushings are in and Riley hooked me up with some new rear cylinders for this weekend at Nashville.

Must be a westcoast thing? I have had goodluck with them but I do prefer NGK.

OK Joe, Keith, you guys are right, as usual.

I checked what I had installed and they were BP7ES in the race car and BP6ES in the daily driver.

My bad.
