I will be building an ITB engine this month. Is there a preferred choice? Anything in particular to be aware of before I get started?

Not sure but a good place for 2.3 info is 4m.net
Look for the MINISTOCK forum under RACE TECH

Early oil pans don't fit the 2.5 blocks I'm told. Rear main cap is different.

Thanks. That site is very time consuming - not much organization within the forums like here - everything is mixed into one group. Couldn't find anything useful.

E-mail me at [email protected] for up to date information too extensive to write here. No "secrets" just a lot of information.

Don't know what you looked for, but the mini-stock tech section and the mini-stock swap have more good info on building and racing a 2.3 Ford than any web site I've ever seen. 2.3 Ford is the most used engine in this type of racing. Sure glad it there for all to see and use.
