What's the max "cars on track" limit for a Pro race at LRP?

Pro who?

I remember IMSA running about 55 cars in one race a few (well, more than a FEW) years ago.

Carnage, carnage everywhere, until the field thinned itself out.

AKA - Attrition. Similar to an ITA season. :eclipsee_steering:

Dave hit it on the head. Pro can basicaly go to what they think is safe.

Club Racing is 38, but the Exec Steward can give a waiver- it is usually 10% or a total 42.

NYR (or maybe NNJR) SCCA has run 54 cars on track at lime rock in one session. I was in it and it wasn't fun! I wish that they would stick to the 42 even in qualifying and practice as it would be much safer! I am curious... do others think we should have more than 42 at lime rock?
