Can I use full tread Toyo's for DE and novice schools? I'm looking to keep my costs down, so I'm trying to avoid buying a set of drys and a set of wets. I want to get away with 6 tires this year. Since Dave questioned the ability of full treads holding up at Lime Rock, I'll add that I'll mostly be at Lime Rock with these tires with a couple of trips to Watkins Glen. The only race I'll see this year is after the Glen school in October.

Absolutely; make sure you have at least one spare, however.

Stay on top of rotating them around to manage wear and you should be OK. I did exactly what you propose with my MkIII Golf in SSC trim.

If you care to run 13" wheels, the old SRF's Yoko's work just great. I've got a couple of sets of 205-60-13 and 185-60-13's that I ran on my street Rabbit, and would use these as intermediates.

If you interested, let me know

I ran fully treaded Kumho's on my 944 for a couple of races. You shouldn't have any problems.
