<_< I would like to know how far the stock braking system can be safely pushed in a 2nd Gen RX-7 before needing an upgrade. Which ones would be the typical steps into upgrading it ?? Right now I run with stock vented discs front and rear with Goodrige braided steel lines, Hawk Blue pads at the track and Motul 600 fluid.

Well, if you're running IT as I assume you are since you're posting on this site you're finished. The "sport" four piston vented front/rear set up is it.
Add front cooling hose to a vented backing plate and thats it. Rules don't allow anything else.
I believe that the GII RX7 with this set up is probably as good a braking car as any. Our weight is fairly high but not as much as some.
Our tires really can't handle much more anyway.

The team I was with at the 2005 25hr ran basically the same set up. After 25hr the car was still stopping well and had about 25% of the pads and rotors still left. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. BTW, that wasn't because we were going slow, we won E0 class. :happy204:
