Rock Hotels- which is closer ?

I've done this both ways, but it's been awhile. There's good hotels in both Rockingham proper (S) and Southern Pines (N). Which is closer to the track ? We're in that early Sunday ECR, so ten minutes extra sack time might be nice.

Typically when I visit there with NASA we stay in Aberdeen/Southern Pines

I think its closer, plus theres alot more "town" around you after your day is done :)

Steve my group of cronies is staying at the Microtel, which I have no idea where its located. Hell
I do not even know where the track is.

Ah, good to hear from you, K-man. We're at the Microtel as well, up the road from the track in Southern Pines (did make my pick at last). Think it's about 15 minutes north of the track.

Think we have the Protege alternator squared away, still messing with the cage (the damn shoulder-harness thing), but we'll be there.
