please dont yell at me if Im wrong here, but can I use the lightweight HF flywheel from the same model/generation of my car? It takes the same clutch and PP...

No yelling here... but only if the HF is included on the same spec-line as your car.

Are you talking about the CRX HF? It has its own spec line, so no mixing of parts allowed.

If you are asking this question, you really need to sit down with the GCR and read the ITCS forward and backward.

see, thats what I thought as well, but someone else (unmentioned) told me differently.

the 14lb flywheels are from 1984 1.3l crxs and civics, so thats a different spec line then.

all parts must be from 85-87 SI models only for my car, correct?(itb crx)

or least equivalent to the Si versions. for things like fenders, hood, wipers, etc. there is not a difference as far as i know. i think i have parts from 84-85-86-87 on my car.

but i don't think you can have the 1985 recessed headlights with the 1986 hatchback's spoiler, etc.
