Do what ever you want, it only a recommendation.

Not hard to mount, front to the dash bar, top rear to the top of the roll bar or diagonal, lower rear is supposed to wrap around the back of the seat and attach to the main hoop. The net should catch your shoulder and helmet so it takes some fiddling to get the heights right.

Make sure that the top of the net passes no lower than the centerline of your helmet.

any thoughts the use of a clamp-on stout bar from the top of the front loop to the dash bar and a way to get height right?
