View Full Version : Does anyone know a good forum for older Suburbans?

I've got a 1989 3/4 ton 2WD Chevy Suburban in great shape, I bought it for the huge interior and it is a great tow vehicle. I'm looking for a good internet forum for that vintage. Also, a forum for the newer Suburbans and trucks with the Vortec engines -- the 454 TBI in mine is pretty thirsty, so I'm looking at doing an 8.1 liter Vortec swap in the future.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Joe, I have a 1987 GMC Suburban that I haven't restoring yet. But I have found the websites listed below full of good information. I hope they can help.

Check out Towrig.com and more importantly its sister site, coloradok5.com
CK5.com is primarily an offroading website, but you probably won't find anyone on the net more knowledgeable about chevy's of that vintage.
