Civic Sunroof

Does anyone make a steel repacement panel for a 1989 / 91 Civic? Thanks.

Not sure of anyone who makes them with out researching. However, I replaced my glass top with a steel one from another CRX in a junk yard(5 bucks at u-pull). I'm sure you could do the same with your civic with some measuring? Now, if you want it to be functional thats another story, I just used this one to bolt in for IT.......perfect fit though.

I have made flat steel panels and also used pieces of DX roof to make sunroof covers . I prefer to make a new piece that has at least one inch or more of overlap and rivet it to the roof with some chaulk or seam sealer under the edge to prevent leaks. The piece of other roof works best as it matches the curvature of the roof .

They are not "manufactured" unless you buy a whole non-sun roof panel.

It is DIY.
