Yes :( the gear? on the steering rack felt like it broke !!!...it was new  I turned right at turn 11
and it went straight...BAM!!! I was very lucky It was starting to run hot as well as the steering was feeling kinda funny...I had just backed it down a notch otherwise it could have been really ugly !! :bash_1_: I have yet to
finish an enduro at the ARRC :o p.s. the enduro was really wild !!! :birra:

Who says Google Ads dont work? This was actually an ad I found here on IT.com's Google banner ads.

http://www.dmurrayphoto.com/index.php?opti...id=48&Itemid=34 (http://www.dmurrayphoto.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=48&Itemid=34)

In fact, odds are it's the ad showing now at the bottom of this page! Support those who support IT racing. Click the damn thing :P

Thanks for viewing the google ad. I've been an it.com member for a long while (going back to when I was trying to be on the other side of the fence, in a car)....but I digress.

I've tried to target it.com as I know a lot of drivers post here, so I want to make sure some money flows into the site (as small as that contribution is).

Great races Saturday...everyone except group 8 got lucky with the weather. If you were still outside (and hadn't headed for the paddock grill before then) there was a big change in the weather in the course of 20 laps.

Greg, I was wallowing in my self pity when I realized you were supposed to put on your gstring for the podium...well? You said you would do it if you won!!! I couldnt get there in time...

Unfortunately, it appears the Captain Panties were lost. I suspect they were in the pocket of my driving suit (for luck!) when I had it dry-cleaned...

The funny part is there's probably some soon-to-be-divorced business man whose wife found quite a surprise in her husband's suit...

Ah, well. I'm sure Bill is scouting the Wal-Marts for a replacement...

I've already ordered from Dennis, and I like that he's posted the shots so quickly. Some are the classic type of shot, but he's got others which are really well composed, and, dare I say, 'arty'? Nice stuff, esp considering the dull conditions. Lighting is everything to a photographer.

Gordon, unlike a certain NE photog, was class enough to come up to me before the race, introduce himself and ASK if I wuld mind if he sent proofs. THAT's the way to handle THAT system, as opposed to getting unasked for (and boring ) shots in the mail, then an overdue notice a month later because you failed to return, (on your time and dime) things you never asked for in the first place!

So, to Dennis and Gordon, nice job.

And, if anyone has any pics of me, esp any video, I'd be happy to pay for whatever, as it will help me see where I can be better. My email is in my sig.

>> unlike a certain NE photog

No kidding! :mad1:

Having lived in the South and having married a southern girl I can say without doubt that us Yankee's can learn a thing or 2 about basic manners from our Rebel friends :)

Looking forward to my properly solicited package from Gordon as well.

heh, you'll pay alright. To keep them OFF the net :P
Ever seen 6 guys try to get an RX7 onto a rickety wooden scale platform in the dark WHILE at the same time balancing their beers ?

That was a classic!! I was getting stomach aches from laughing so much!! That's why I finally pulled up a chair so I could sit and watch!! Imagine how much faster Jake would have been if we didn't "help"!!

And I don't think one ounce of beer was spilled!!

ahhh..that's the method to the madness......a built in reason, and I can always point fingers. ;)

(yeah, it wasn't perfect...and it got worse during use. But i had NO idea before, as the car was so behind schedule just getting the bodywork done, so at least I KNEW ho f-u'ed it was. And knowning what the setup is, or isn't... is a good thing. I could drive the car with some idea what might happen. All in all I think the car went fine considering where it started. (The RA scales showed the setup was a bit off. Over 150 pounds, I think, of difference in the front weights alone. gulp, LOL)

As for the beer...of course not. Why waste?? even that coors light stuff...;)

But hey, i went to have fun and get back in the game, and the set up WAS fun, ya gotta admit that!
