Last year we kicked off the USERA season at Kershaw with a pair of double three hour races. The problem is we didn't include IT cars in that first race... a mistake I still regret. :)

We have a tentative date for March 24/25 again for a double trhee hour weekend. I need to determine if there would be suitable interest in that weekend.

For 2007, we will be making several changes for IT drivers. First, we will be allowing the IT classes to run for seperate trophy/championships rather them lumping them into "TC". That means the ITC guys won't feel they are trying to run down ITS cars for the "TC" championship. We are also adding "ITR" as well.

Secondly, we will hold the line on entry costs to $450 wherever possible to provide as much value and track time as possible. When suitable numbers of entries or sponsors are secured, we'll post a purse then rather then build a purse from entry fee add-ons.

The race formats will remain straight up racing (no segments, no mandatory stops, etc.).

We are talking to several regions about the possibility of being included as part of their regional or national weekends. We are also talking to Florida Region about being included in some way on their 12 Hour weekend at Homestead. So expect some more scheduling information soon.

For those of you who already know you want to participate in the series, the 2007 series registration and number reservation form can be downloaded here: http://www.usenduro.com/forms/SeriesRegistrationForm.pdf

2006 teams will have until December 31 to renew/retain their 2006 reserved numbers. All other numbers will be given to new teams on a first come basis.

More information on the 2007 schedule will be posted soon.

Absolutely - sounds VERY interesting, Ken. It's on our tentative schedule as of today...
