Header Question

I found a deal on a Boig Header for my soon to be ITA Miata the only problem is on one of the tubes has a couple of inch dent (sort of a little flat spot or so) about three or four inches from where it is mounted to the block. Will this matter? The price of the header is so good I hope it is not a problem.

Might be semi repairable too. At least you could remove most of the adverse effect, which I think is probably slight to start with. Call a fabricator for his opinion, but you might take a slide hammer and weld it to the dent to remove most of it..

I think the previous owner was going to use it with a supercharger setup and flattened one tube a slight bit to make it fit, and then decided not to use it. It doesn't seem too bad. Those long tubes look like they should work good. I'll need it chasing those hondas and neons.
