I think I remember reading something about this here a while back, but can't recall the info now.
Is there a solution to the unavailablity of 3rd/4th clutch hub assemblies for 2nd gen NA tranmissions? (at least from Mazda)
We've been eating third gear synchros and swapping in used trannys, but it's wearing a bit thin. So I finally made the leap into rebuilding. I didn't like the looks of the teeth on the hub sleeves and I called Mazda Motorsports for new ones. 1st/2nd no problem. But 3rd/4th is not available.
Is there an easy solution or do I have to put an addition on the shop to store all of the broken transmissions that are piling up and keep doing the transmission swap aerobics program? ( it does help build up the neck and shoulders)
