Race tire care

I have heard SO MANY different recepies and "tricks" to taking care of your race tires. Im good with breaking new tires in and storage but my confusion comes at the RACE DAY situation so allow me to break this topic down into 2 parts.

1= Pre race or between session care


2= Post race care...when we finish up for the day.

pre-race--Rotate

Postrace--depends on the track and paddock. Hot tires will pick-up rubber, gravel dirt, etc. If you run at the Glen, for example, and stay on line on the cool down lap and paddock in a paved lot, the tires stay clean. At other tracks, you may be in a situation of having to scrape with the heat gun after you get the rig home.
