Rear Sway bars...what are you using.

My 88 GTI 16v only has the stock rear bar and no front bar. Do you guys like the Bildon type sway bar or the conventional Neuspeed type bar? Does anyone run a front bar, and if so, which one? I've even considered welding a 3/16" x 2 1/4" x 34" steel plate inside the rear axle beam. Has anyone tried that approach?

The steel plate works, but not adjustable.
There was a thread with a great picture of an A4 jetta WC cars rear beam&swaybar.
