Big Fat Hairy Deal.....Hes outa shape, unless round is a suitable shape. Plenty of left side weight, great for the ONE left at LRP. The left is the key to speed there,Every one knows that.

Woooo Hooooo! The Boombalatti/ Superfly express will make an appearance at LRP. Not sure about the whole superstar thing but we hope to be able to keep up with the pack and give you all a good tussle. Looking forward to mixin it up with the new superstars. I needed to add a few pounds to the car so I installed a winch on the front bumper and will attach it to a certain little red Nissan and this way, I can get a real tow around the track :P . See You all Then.

Looks to me like a busy weekend with A LOT of run groupes and a lot of entrants!!!

Pre Race count: http://www.nescca.com/registration/current...asp?ID=38604379 (http://www.nescca.com/registration/currentcount.asp?ID=38604379)

Good weather!!! :( http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/int...te/tenday/06039 (http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/interstate/tenday/06039)

For us we have had the normal pre race stresses... The motor we scrambled together for stephens car at NHIS blew a head gasket on us on Saturday in the shop and we are now scrambling to put together a new one. Cause of failure on this one is definatly due to the lack of oil pressure and running the engine... the lack of oil scored the cam and the journals very badly, so the head/cam and all are junk for the long run but we are going to scrape things together to hopefully get something built as a 1 race weekend motor, time will tell to see if it stayes together!!! A new motor is in the works for the Runoffs and ARRC, so I will have my work cut out to keep him behind me!!!

This weekend we will also be testing out the new Bilstiens. I have to say I am overly impressed with the product this far. For our cars application the design seems far more durable then the Koni's but less "tunable" as they are non adjustable. I think in the long run of a full weekend the Bilstiens will outlast the Koni's, I wonder how different the car will feel/handle???

Looking forward to seeing everyone (even Ray Maan)!!! :happy204:

Ok unfortuatly we have bailed out on bulding Stephen a motor so he will nt be running this weekend... That brings up an issue for us... We need 2 crew spots, if anyone has some could you let me know. The people will be Stephen Blethen & Stephanie Wasson

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Raymond "1 down, 10 to go  " Blethen

PS: Mom if you are still going you will also need to find a crew to be on.

I'm out for this one. But I want to go up to NHIS to watch your Dad since he taught all of us everything we all know about racing (and I include myself in that student core). I'm going to help with the storage unit here at the farm to give us all an emergency place to work on vehicles on race weekend if need be.

"Wishing I could be there to root for you this weekend" and watch "one of my boys" kick ass...." Mom
