ITR article in SportsCar??

I just had an idea that an article should be submitted to the Club Mag and maybe even Grass Roots Motorsports on ITR. There's already been the press release issued in both but an article on the formation of the class and following several builds for this new class might be a way to generate more interest and help the numbers. I ran with Richard James during the Super-School and he might be looking for an article along these lines. Anyone have anything they'd like to share?

I wrote to GRM Friday offering such an article. I don't know how SCCA centric...or should I say "non" centric they are, but I'll follow up with a call to guage interest.

Hey Jake,

That's exactly what I was thinking of. I suspect that you should be hearing from GRM soon. I think they try to balance their coverage but not exclude anyone either. I've seen good reviews of the Spec Racer Ford's and that they recommended them as a new racer starter vehicle.
