Ok, my 94 Sport Golf is to the point where I need to choose a chip for the Ecu, thats not a problem. But I am a bit worried about an adaptation period needed for the OBD1 to pick up on the new settings, every time after I disconnect the battery. I have been told by many different people (manufacturers, mechanics/ techs ect.) very different approximated time periods that a chip will need to adapt. This is anywhere from turning the key on for 5 min then letting the car idle for 10, to 120 miles of hard driving. Lets hear your opinions!
