Buliding an ITC Scirocco- Injection or Weber?

I am in the early stages of building a Mk1 Scirocco for ITC.
At this point I have the car and am gathering parts to start.

Which is going to be the better fuel system... Injection or a Weber?

cis is easier to run, less tweaking with jets and what not each time you run the car..

Injection will be better than the legal carbs.

But, wouldn't converting a 75 Carb Rocco to CIS be illegal? Wouldn't you need to also transfer the VIN numbers?

It would also be a PITA to convert from carb to CIS, different wiring harness, fuel pumps, fuses, sensors, etc.

BTW, go with the CIS and be done with it.

Talk about a mixed message :unsure:

Well, the carb to CIS is legal since 75-80 are on the same line (i.e., can update from the 1471 carb to the 1588 CIS). Someone should really ask to get the '81 1715 wrapped in there too, since it's the same class, same body style, same head, same exact look as '80, etc. B)
