Quick oil pan question

Hey guys -

Can you pull the oil pan on our cars with the engine in place? I need to do a quickie repair, but don't want to go through the hassle of lifting the motor to get it out.

I have removed and replaced the oil pan without out pulling the engine. I needed to remove the sway bar and had to lift the engine a bit to do it.

When I did it (on my S14) - I had to lift the motor, and loosen the subframe too.

So if you almost can get it out, but need that little bit more, you can drop the front subframe a bit for a inch or so of clearance.
