And ended like this :figo: ...
http://www.rstperformance.com/pictures/rstpictures2004season/ARRC2004/wes1.JPG

and we will be back this year, hopefully looking a lot like the above :smilie_pokal: ...

On the way the car has been through a lot... um yeah its been "off road" a few times...

It started with um little off tracks :unsure: ;
http://www.rstperformance.com/pictures/rstpictures1999season/99audi51/7117.jpg

That turned into racing "off Track" and on a mountain :wacko: ;
http://www.rstperformance.com/pictures/rstpictures2000season/00mw/00rmw1.jpg

and that turned into a lot of work :bash_1_: !!!

The Opel *is* cool. (EDIT: removed joke) :)

Jake, the GC bar was the only part on the car I was worried about... and it failed, twice. Its gone, with a G force bar in its place.

Step 1 - Make the car look good

Step 2 - have some 'friendly' adjustments made by a fellow racer

Step 3 - have someone take a picture of the other side of the car so it still looks good in pics...

Step 4 - make the car fast. hum, haven't gotten to that part yet!

Spot is way cool... We used to have an old Opal GT running in the Northeast... I am sure it is still stored away in a barn, the car was always 1st or 2nd and still probably would be today if it came out. Very very fast especially on the tighter tracks that we have in the Northeast!!!

as for my car, its name is Georgia...

Thanks Jake. My mottos are "If you cant be good, look good", and "An ounce of image is worth a pound of performance". :)

The answer to your question is all of the above but mostly because of that big bump just past the bridge at the exit of T17(T17A). Always makes for great shots.

A special thanks has to go out to Henry from Colourtech South Motorsports Photography for shooting some of the greatest photographs I have ever had of my car.

That must be a Kirk cage. I have the same in my EP Integra, but I had the dash bar put IN the dash. Now I can see all the apexes....:)

Nice car

Yes, I believe that it is a Kirk cage. I bought the car with cage already in it. The new car we are building has the dash bar in the dash. How about that Hummer gauge pod? :D The race shop got a little carried away with the fabrication. :o

FTW? Damn, Greg I didn't figure you for the Biker type, but I guess we're not the only ones who use that term. Why would you be bummed over your win? You should be proud, but not defiant, unless you felt you had something to prove.

I'll play along...what gives?

On Edit: Checked Urban Dictionary. I get it now. For The Win, not F**k The World. OK, I'll try to keep 'em straight.

No, I'm just saying that in a racer forum with a lot of Japanese cars and younger Internet users, FTW doesn't refer to "eff the world"; online gamers and ricers commonly use it as "For the Win!" - GA

Sorry for any inconvenience caused by my confusion. To be honest I don’t get much exposure to online gamers or ricers and was big into hot rodding Harley’s before I took up auto racing. While I’m on the subject, anybody going to Daytona or the Keys week after next?

We were experiencing technical difficulties but now back to our regularly scheduled thread already in progress.

Hey, Tom, if it makes you feel any better, I had to look it up, too...
