seat mounting question

the car i have is a omp seat on a lever activating sliding base. the back of the seat is bolted to the role cage so it can not move. is this legal?

Yes, I have seen plenty of installs using slide adjusters. as long as it is has the back is attached to the cage there is not much for limitation on how you mount the seat to the pan. the gcr just says it has to be securely attached to the structure of the car.
