I read the 2006 GCR it says:

"Fuel injected cars may alter or replace the engine management computer, or ECU, provided that all modifications are done within the original OEM ECU housing."

Does this mean that we can use the Mopar Performance Engine Controllers? The language must use OEM ECU housing and wonder if that qualifies?

If not where can I get the original ECU reprogrammed?

If they are anything like the ones we installed in our '80's Dodge turbos (such as my Shelby CSX), where they use the stock case and attach to the stock wiring harness, then YES they are absolutely allowed. I would encourage you to remove the Mopar case and slip the ECU into the stock one (although functionally and technically it's the same thing, but it will make your competitiors much happier.) - GA

Howell Automotive also has an AF/x ECU for the manual transmission Neons.

Revised Fuel and Spark Maps... and raised rev limiters.
