i am having a hard time tracking down 13x6 racing wheels for the 85si.

i have been looking at either diamond, or circle wheels, cause they are for cheap.

what backspacing works with these? (in inches)

I haven't actually ordered any, but when I was going to, I was going to order 5" back spacing. This was measured from the back face of the mounting point to the rim edge.

I don't know of a lot of options, unless you go with 14x6 or 15x6. 13x6 you need to go with Diamond or Panasports. Either that or you need to come on some that are used. Just be careful. Wheels have a life cycle. That is evident when my teammate totalled his car into the wall at the Shenendoah because the wheel broke in the bowl.

heres what i am looking at.:

65$ each in 4x100 i think they look a lot better than the diamond wheels... i like the square holes better. plus if you want them in chrome its a hell of alot cheaper than diamond, extra $10 for centers, or $10 for the rim.

mrw makes them, but i am not sure if i can pick a center hole size or not.. is there any trouble with running wheels that dont have a snug center hole on these cars?

I tried them also and I agree they look better, but..... they can not do the 5" backspacing required in a 13" wheel. I want to stay 13" because it is cheap gearing, so a 14" or 15" wheel will not work.

A couple of thoughts - When I was trying to go cheap on the wheels I used Stock BMW 13x6 Alloy wheels from the 320 series or 318 series cars. The offset and back spacing are perfect, they look decent and can usually get a set of 4 from the salvage yard for $100.00. I probally have three sets - I currentlly use them for my rains and molded rain set up. I also have a set of Black Diamond 13x6 wheels I might be selling. I am in the process of trying to sell my ITC CRX, with spares, as a package. If the car sells and the rest of the package stays I have a set of revolutions and panasports with Hossiers (used one race), that I could probally cut you a deal on. The car is being shown this weekend so stay in touch.
