I just saw on the news the NHIS is flooded up to the tops of the garages!
:o
Anybody near by see anything more than News 5 is reporting?

Don't tell me that the Honda tried to drive thru that lake...reminds me of Moroso in 99/00 when I was driving in water up to my running boards (F350 4x4) and was hit by the bow wake from a Z28.
I guess they don't call those Nastycar tracks "bowls" for nothing, eh?

just spoke to the track. the water is gone now and the regions equipment trailer was on high ground so it did not get swamped.

Looks like IRP every few years when we get hit with thunderstorms..... :)
I assume a water main broke?

Safe to say the Richard Petty Driving Experience didn't run. I guess this would have been a reasonable excuse for a NASCAR club to not run in the rain.

Dries! of course. The turns looked OK. Only standing water on the straights. Any tire would make it through that.
Right?
Anyone?
