I'm surprise there hasn't been any discusion on this since the latest Pit Talk!!

Anybody have any more details??

we have a hearing with town officials next week. keep your fingers crossed.

Are we inviting town officials up to LRP for the NARRC's?? Let them see the kind of folks (read that as Non-NASCAR) that they would have in their area? See the numbers of people needing hotel rooms, restaurants, etc that would benefit their town and area? See the kind of "disposable income" that we bring to a local economy? Hear the passion that SCCA people in the Northeast have for a new "home" track, and the resulting attendance and income for local businesses that would spin from it??

All that I can see from the location (Westerly area, Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun, etc) is all good both from a competitor's standpoint, and for the local economies.

And I used to live 5 minutes from where the new track will be... DOH!! From here in NH it will be a 4 hr tow.... DOH!!

wednesday's meeting has been postponed by the town. should have new date in next day or so.
